The Conservative Party of Surrey is led by Honveer Singh Randhawa, a Surrey-raised lawyer who graduated from Queen Elizabeth Secondary School, earned a nursing degree and then a law degree at the University of Manitoba, articled in Saskatchewan, and was called to the BC Bar in 2015. He founded Randhawa Law Centre in Surrey and has spent over a decade serving individuals, families, and businesses in this community, including a significant pro bono practice for residents who could not afford representation. In 2024 he ran as the Conservative Party of BC candidate for Surrey-Guildford. He is running for Mayor now because Surrey families deserve leadership that has actually lived their challenges.
The council team standing alongside him reflects the full breadth of this city. Calvin VanderPloeg has spent nearly four decades in construction and hospitality, working alongside homeowners, entrepreneurs, engineers, and every level of government. He understands how decisions made at city hall ripple through the trades and small businesses that employ Surrey residents. Ricky Bajwa brings over a decade of experience in the automotive industry and as a longshoreman, a community director, and a certified badminton coach who has spent years investing in Surrey's youth. Donna Wu has lived in Surrey for over 26 years, working in real estate, volunteering at the food bank and Fraser Health, serving on school PACs, and personally organising more than 200 households into neighbourhood safety patrols. Dan Carlos has called Surrey home for 30 years: a licensed driving instructor, a mental health outreach worker, a faith leader, and a bridge between Surrey's many cultural communities.
Not one of them ran for office before because politics seemed like a career opportunity. They are running because the city they love has been poorly managed for too long, and they have the experience, the values, and the conviction to change it. Safer streets. Lower taxes. Transparent government that answers to residents, not insiders. These are not campaign promises. They are the reasons this team decided to stand up.

Randhawa enters the race for Mayor of Surrey as the mayoral candidate for the Conservative Party of Surrey. His platform is built around safer streets, lower taxes, and transparent government that puts Surrey families first.

Randhawa ran as the Conservative Party of British Columbia candidate for Surrey-Guildford in the 2024 provincial election, bringing his commitment to conservative values and community-first leadership to the provincial stage.

Founds Randhawa Law Centre, Surrey
Called to the British Columbia Bar in 2015, Randhawa returned to Surrey and established Randhawa Law Centre. For over a decade he has served individuals, families, and businesses in the community he grew up in, including a significant pro bono practice for residents who needed someone fighting in their corner.

After completing his articling experience in Saskatchewan, Randhawa was called to the British Columbia Bar and came home to Surrey to put his legal training to work for his community.

At the University of Manitoba, Randhawa first completed a nursing degree, grounding himself in a profession built on care and responsibility for others.
